Mrs. Eva Heath, Salem Native, Succumbs At 75- Eva Lena Heath, 75, of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Culver Hospital. She had been hospitalized since Monday following a stroke. She was born in Salem on Sept. 26, 1887, the daughter of John W. and Norrah Jane Bottorff. On Oct. 26, 1910, she married Howard Heath, who died in 1948. They were married in Montgomery County. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church and had resided in Wayne Township most of her adult life. Survivors include a son, Russell Heath, and a daughter, Mrs. Leota Porter, both of Crawfordsville; three brothers, William B. Bottorff of Medora and Wesley A. and Harry Bottorff, both of Salem; six sisters, Dicy Mae Brewer, Flora Estella Lee, Carolyn McDougall, Marie Fletcher, Angie Reynolds, and Erie Fern Haley, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John, a brother, Oakley, and a sister, Anna Bottorff, in addition to her husband. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown by Rev. Guy E. Tremaine and Rev. Robert Lecky. Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
